After making you ROFL with R-rated Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds is back to offer his comic timing as everyone’s favourite yellow Pokemon Pikachu in the brand new trailer for the live-action movie Pokemon: Detective Pikachu. This is the first time fans of the game turned animation series, turned movie will get to see what a world looks like when Pokemon co-habit the world with humans.

After seeing the intriguing teaser of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan‘s Kedarnath, our expectations from the trailer had risen a level above. Now that the trailer is out and we have seen it, we have to say that it has lived up to our expectations. From the thrilling background score to stunning visuals to the great chemistry of the lead actors, the Kedarnath trailer has a lot to offer to us.
This may be Sara’s debut film but she has an amazing screen presence and we can’t take our eyes off her in the scenes. In a number of scenes, we are reminded of her mother, Amrita Singh as Sara has a great resemblance to her mother. Talking about Sushant, we have seen what a brilliant actor he is in his television shows and movies. With Kedarnath, looks like Sushant is going to add one more memorable performance to his list.
Director Abhishek Kapoor has cut a smart trailer as it leaves us curious and keeps us gripped throughout.
Kedarnath releases on December 7 and we can’t wait to enjoy this film on the big screen now!
Thugs of Hindostan is turning out to be not just a critical but also a commercial disappointment. If the numbers on Friday and Saturday couldn’t come anywhere close to the Friday opening, Sunday wasn’t any better. This is supposed to be the biggest day for any film and though it would have been miraculous for the Vijay Krishna Acharya directed film to touch 50 crore again even with excellent word of mouth, lack of that made it all the more difficult for it to even dream of anything like that.
The results were there to be seen as the numbers stayed terribly lower at 16 crore*. When one looks at the fact that this is an event film graced with the biggest starcast, production house and release coupled with the fact that all 5000 odd screens are at its disposal, there is a clear indication that acceptance has not been there at all.
It is now almost a crash situation and as a result, the film currently stands at 118 crore*. However with regular working days beginning from today and festivities and celebrations coming to a close, one waits to see how Monday turns out to be. Indications are that the collections would go below 10 crore mark today which won’t be a good sign at all for the film.
