Baahubali director SS Rajamouli starts his next film today. Currently dubbed as RRR will marks the first-time collaboration of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. The launch was graced by megastar Chiranjeevi, veteran filmmaker K. Raghavendra, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati among others…. Watch it here:
Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Sarkar’ opened to a great response on Day 1 across the globe and as expected the AR Murugadoss film has already broken a record on the first day itself. Just from the premiere shows in the US, the movie has earned approximately $145,000 (Rs 10474800). Sarkar has beaten Baahubali 2 to become the highest Day 1 grosser in Kerala. Though the official figures are yet to come out, fans are going crazy of this big south release.
Before the movie released, experts predicted that Sarkar will break multiple records on its way right from day 1 and may even beat the record set by Baahubali. The film was released on Tuesday and the trade suggests that the film can make around Rs 50 crore before Sunday.
The film had released in 80 countries and over 3200 screens. Sarkar is expected to set new benchmarks at the ticket windows. However, Thugs of Hindostan may cause a big problem in Sarkar collection in India and abroad because Aamir Khan has a bigger influence internationally especially after the release of ‘Dangal’.
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan-starrer “Thugs Of Hindostan” is all set to hit the screens on November 8.The logo of the action entertainer film, which also features Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, was unveiled on Monday.The Yash Raj Films production is being helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who directed Katrina and Aamir in “Dhoom: 3”. It is an adaptation of the 1839 novel “Confessions of a Thug”.It has been extensively shot in picturesque locations of Malta and Rajasthan.
“Thugs Of Hindostan” will be digitally remastered in the IMAX format. It is the fifth such Indian movie.Before this, “Dhoom: 3”, “Bang Bang!”, “Baahubali 2” and “Padmaavat” got the IMAX treatment.
After the logo of Thugs of Hindostan, the makers of epic action-adventure film have introduced superstar Amitabh Bachchan as Khudabaksh. Shared by Aamir Khan on his Twitter handle, the motion poster has Amitabh in a larger than life avatar. With a sword in his hand, an armour on his body, a turban on his head and passion in his eyes, senior Bachchan could not have got a better look than this for his thug avatar. After looking at the motion poster, the wait for this long in the making project has just got difficult.
After premiering its first Indian series “Sacred Games” last month, Online streaming platform Netflix is set to make another Indian series On one of India’s highest-grossing films franchise “Baahubali“. It will be an adaptation of “The Rise of Sivagami”, a prequel novel to the 2015 film.
